ANT!FOTO BAR.

Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber have been working for 25 years with photography as a medium, but also with the various possibilities of exhibiting, researching and publishing photography. Since 2010, they have been organizing ANT!FOTO, an ongoing series of exhibitions and events hosted at various institutions. At its core, the series fosters dialogue around the many forms and expressions of photography.
One recurring format within this series is the ANT!FOTO BAR. For each edition, Stuke and Sieber – along with invited guests – curated a selection of thematically relevant books from their personal library. These gatherings invited people to engage in conversations about photography in a relaxed setting, accompanied by drinks and music. The concept was inspired by themed bars that Stuke and Sieber encountered during several visits to Japan beginning in 2006. The mobile ANT!FOTO Bar was launched in 2021. It had been installed at different venues for individual evenings on different themes.
